Ratti Handa, DMD
An internationally renowned restorative and cosmetic dentist, Ratti Handa, D.M.D. has worked with some of the most prestigious specialty practices in Massachusetts.
Dr. Handa received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Tufts University Dental School in 1998. She holds a Bachelor of Dental Science degree from the ABMS Institute of Dental Sciences, and completed her residency at the Safder Jung Hospital's Department of Oral Surgery in India. She is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Massachusetts Dental Society (MDS), and The Indian Dental Association.
Dr. Handa's strength is rooted in the combination of her skills as both a cosmetic and restorative dentist. She has a special understanding of the preservation of a healthy mouth, as well as the art and dynamics of a beautiful smile. Dr. Handa continually cultivates her knowledge of the dental industry's changing trends and medical advancements. She stays active in her research and studies both at Tufts University and The Pankey Institute - America's premier institute for advanced dentistry. She lectures at Tufts University Dental School and is a faculty member at the Scottsdale Center for Dentistry. She is also a member of the Pankey Study Club and the Seattle Study Club.
Dr. Handa leads workshops across the country teaching her “Person Behind the Teeth” philosophy. She teaches other dentists to connect with patients and view dentistry through the patient’s perspective. Her philosophy is to serve patients as people and not as a chart or x-ray. She considers herself more than a dental care provider, but also a partner in every patient's overall well being.
